Ana Maria DeJesus, 96 of Deltona transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 8th in Orange City at Advent Health Fish Memorial Hospital. 

She was born January 6th,1929 to parents Mariano Gerena and Alejandra Morales, in Humacao, Puerto Rico.

Ana loved and believed in God. She attended Puerta Del Cielo in Deltona under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel Colon.

Ana loved people and it showed as she loved hosting and entertaining family and friends. She loved cooking and enjoyed feeding everyone with such love and care. Ana loved playing dominos also. Ana was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and her sister, Gloria Gerena.

She was a loving mother , grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and a loyal friend, who was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

           " To be absent from this body, now present with the Lord "Ana will forever live on in the hearts of her devoted daughters, Carmen DeJesus and Gladys DeJesus. Sons, Carlos DeJesus, Andres DeJesus and Luis DeJesus. Her 11 grands, 21 great grands and 2 great great grands. Her loving sister Carmen Ruiz. A host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
