Barbara Stone born in Geneva, Florida passed away January 20, 2026 in the company of her loving
husband of 58 years, Gary Stone. Being born and raised in Florida, the love of the area and surrounding cities brought much joy to her life. Barbara’s life can best be described in the five “F” words- Family, Friends, Food, Fun and Fishing. She will be greatly missed.
Barbara was a loving and caring woman whose devotion to family always came first.
Throughout her life, she worked hard in farm fields, upholstery shops, plant nurseries,
construction, and retail sales, never shying away from honest work. Her love of family lives on
through her daughters, to whom she instilled the values of commitment, care, and the importance
of being the best mothers and grandmothers they could be.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary Stone; her sisters, Julie Bulick (JC) and Rose Lawson;
her daughters, Wanda Harris (Geoff), Rhonda Riddick (EW), Debra Heath (James), and Melissa
Lovell-Ferrell (Robert); eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
