Carmen R. Cortes  81, of Deltona, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 13, 2025 Advent Health Hospital in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born to Juan F. Cortes and Carmen Soto Cortes in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Cortes loved her profession as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed making people look beautiful, it was her passion for over 30 years. As well as volunteering for several community organizations, especially with the elderly. Carmen was honest, kind, had a awesome sense of humor and loved her God; Enjoyed sewing, art & crafts. She Cherished & Loved her family; especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cats and dogs.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her daughter, Yvonne Suarez of Sanford, FL.; sister: Sonia Riviezzo of Southbury, CT.; brother: Wilson Cortes of Brooklyn, NY; three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. a long with host of other relative and friend that shall miss her dearly.
