Clara Maria Fontanez, 70 of Deltona, Florida transition this life Monday May 3,2024 in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born April 5,1954 to the parents Arthur and Clara Cruz in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Clara married the love of her life Tomas Rivera Fontanez December 20,1969 in Humacao, Puerto Rico and spent over 54 years together. This union was blessed with four children. She was a homemaker, spitfire who loved to watch Television. Clara was loving, selfless, awesome wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She was free spirited and nothing could hold her down. Clara was a member of City Church in Sanford, Florida under Pastor Eugene.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Clara Cruz as well as her sister Edith D. Garcia. Absent from this earthly body, Clara will forever live on in the heart's of her loving husband Tomas Rivera Fontanez; Daughters Wanda Soto,Vanessa Olivarez and Jovanna Fontanez all of Deltona, Florida; Son Ivan Fontanez of New Bedford, MA; 12 Grandchild; 11 Great Grandchildren; Sisters Iris Cruz, Wanda Cruz, Marita Cruz and Maibel Cruz; Brother Roland Cruz all of New Bedford, MA. A host of other relatives and friends.
