The sunrise of Cora Lea Anderson began on October 17,1962 in Deland, Florida. Born to loving parents Eddie and Mildred Brown. On October 7, 2025 Cora Lea answered the master’s call at Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside Hospital in Columbus, GA.Cora was educated in the Volusia County School System and was a proud graduate of Deland High School Class of 1982. Cora worked as a private CNA as well as for Health Care Facilities for many years. Cora’s spiritual foundation was rooted in Church of God, as she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost under the late Mother Flora Martin of Barberville, FL. She later became a member of Thompson Street Church of God under Pastor James Turner. She was a dedicated and faithful member, serving on the praise
team, as singing was her passion. Cora was led in later years to move her membership to Life Center Church of God, DeLeon Springs under pastorship of Bishop Lawrence Ingram until her health failed her. Cora was preceded in death by her husband Ferris Anderson, parents Eddie and Mildred Brown. Siblings Claretha Brown and Kenneth Ray Jackson. A tender voice and gentle smile now so quiet, will be missed by all who came to know her. Cora Lea Anderson will forever live on in many hearts. She leaves to cherish her precious memories Children: Curtis (Krystal) Bright Jr, Ernest Pope Jr., Michael Gallamore, Santana Gallamore, Ursula Gallamore and Shamarious Gallamore. Grandchildren: Sha’maria Smith, Jada Smith, Maurice D. Smith Jr., Michael Gallamore Jr., Javontae Reed, Queen Gallamore, Damien Pope,
Lucas Pope, Curtis Bright III, Josiah Bright and Nalia Gallamore. Siblings: Willie Ware, Earl (Evon) Ware, Erma Long and Laurie Brown. Devoted caregivers: Bob and Sally Andrews of Columbus, GA. Devoted Friend Lady Lisa (Zechariah) Henry
of Deltona, FL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.
