Donald Edward Gates 64, of Deltona, Florida transitioned from this life into eternal rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his residence in Deltona, Florida. Born February 2,1960 to the parents Donald L. and Janet Gates in Levittown, N.Y. Donald and Carol met at the age of 15/16 years old, Donald married Carol Brennan and enjoyed nearly 40 years together this May. He worked and retired from Lowe's and as a aircraft mechanic for TWA and then Page. Donald loved cars, making jokes and was a very fun-loving person. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald L., Janet Gates; his brother Paul Gates and brothers in laws, Richard and Robert Brennan. He will be greatly missed by all. Donald will forever live in the hearts of his loving wife Carol Gates; Sisters Laurie (Timmy) Barker, Elaine Brill, Lisa (Bob) Mabanta and Annette Desthers; Brothers Jimmy (Nicole)Gates. His mother in law, Gloria Brennan. Sisters in law, Joanne (John) Wanamaker and Donna Gleason. A host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
