1990 - EDWIGE VIRGINY DODIEU - 2022
With the deepest sorrow, we announce that Edwige Virginy Dodieu (Ginou), age 32, our most beloved daughter, sister, family member, and friend, passed suddenly on Friday, June 17, 2022. Ginou was a lover of all things, enjoyed cheffing up a delectable treat for all to enjoy, or masterfully preparing meals as a talented chef. She was funny, outgoing, and vivacious but also introverted and introspective. Appropriately named Edwige with a French origin meaning "war." Ginou is a symbol of power, beauty, and grace. She was a protector of her brother Woodly, who she loved above all else, and fiercely loyal to family and friends. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing brown eyes, and the most loving personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Ginou, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Those who knew Ginou, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Ginou will be greatly missed by her mother, Lourdes Gionino, brother, Woodly Doddieu, stepfather, Thomas "Tom" Gionino, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many great friends.
We know Ginou is now in the loving arms of her father, who revered her as his little princess and is loved here on earth and in heaven.
