Essie Mae Miller, 78, of Winter Springs, Florida transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 in Sanford, Florida at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. Born to Minnie Moore and Rand Miller on December 3rd 1944 in Montezuma, GA. Essie retired in the housekeeping industry for 31 years. She was a mother of one, Yavis Miller. A loving sister to all her siblings and caregiver to the sick. She was the party. She could get everyone on the floor dancing, laughing and having a great time. She was always open to family and friend with so much love. She mothered many children in the role as auntie to her nieces and nephews. Essie preceded in death by her parents: Rand and Minnie Miller. Her siblings: Jennie Miller-Cummings, Willie Ruth Miller-Dumas, Elizabeth Miller-Odom, Sammie Miller, Bernice Miller-Wallace, Gladys Miller-Paul, Louis Miller, Doll Miller-Casey, Rosa Mae Miller-Smith, Mary Jane Miller-Haslem and Annie Ruth Miller-Wright.  We are saddened by her passing. She will live in the hearts of her son, Yavis Miller. A host of loving nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
