He was born June 24, 1969 to parents Hector Lopez and Rosa Viera in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hector was married to Luz Lopez for 7 years on May 26, 2016 in Deland, Florida. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He attended church at El Santuario in Deland, Florida under the leadership of Peter and Marilyn Rosario.

Hector will forever live on in the hearts of his devoted wife Luz Lopez; Daughter Christie Lopez Torres; Son Isaac Lopez Torres. His two grandchildren; Sisters Yolanda and Pricsilla Lopez Viera
