James Arthur Jones, 72 of Mt. Dora, Florida transitioned from this life on Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Waterman Advent Health in Tavares, Florida. He was born to parents Arthur Jones and Vonstine Neal July 28, 1952 in Bascome, Florida.  James was a very loving, caring and energetic person, who enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Stephanie McKenzie, son in law Elvin North, brothers Walter and Andrew Jones. He will be missed by all who came to know him. James will forever live on in the hearts of his wife Kristina Horne Jones. His loving children Catessa A. North, James A, Jones (Patricia), Corey A. Jones ( Vondessa), Roderick A. Scott (Ursula), James Williams PA, Kendrick Jones  (Carolyn) and Liberti Christenson. His grandchildren, great grands and great,great grands. Sisters, Dorothy Solomon, Diane Weatherspoon and brother Albert Harris. His lifetime friend William
