Joan E. Hawkins, 66, of Sanford, Florida answered The Master Call on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 in Sanford, Florida at her residence. Born to Ora Bird and Peter Hawkins on May 19th 1956 in Rochester, New York. Joan worked for a great number of years as a Certified Nurse's Aide caring for others. She loved her privacy, enjoyed reading books (especially her Bible) and playing cards. She is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Ora, daughter Yolanda Anderson; sister Karen Hawkins and brother Albert Hawkins. Sadden by her passing, Joan will forever live on in the hearts of her children: Lucinda and Kimberly Brown, Donald and Corey Redden; Carlo and Marlo Brown. Her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her siblings: Joyce,David ,Douglas and Anthony Bernard Hawkins. A host of nieces, nephews; other family and friends.
