Mr. L. Z. Hawkins during the time of his life he loved to fish and play racquetball. He served in the U. S. Amy and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. 

He was born to the late Mr. Larry N. Hawkins and the late Mrs. Mary F. Hawkins. He leaves his wife Mrs. Willinda Hawkins. Sons: Jeffrey Gaines; Maurice Gaines; Javan Nedd and Maurice Shatteen; Daughters: Andrea Mitchell; Precious Turner; LaTia Joiner and Michelin Shatteen; Step Daughter Shakila King; 17 Grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mother-In-Law Kate McCoy; Sister: Myrna (Henry) Shropshire; Brothers: Larry Hawkins and Alfred (Verna) Hawkins. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
