LUCIENE QUELLETTE Obituary

1944 - Luciene Ann (Marsh) Quellette - 2022

Luciene Ann (Marsh) Quellette, 77, Osteen, FL, passed away peacefully September 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving husband Albert, daughters Louise, Sandra, Marilyn, son-in-law Mike, and grandsons Casey and Austin. Luciene was born November 14, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI. She was a graduate from Colonial High School, Orlando, FL in 1963, something her eldest daughter Louise also took pride in having graduated from the same school 20 years later in 1983.Luciene worked at many places she came to love such as Stewart Jewelry in College Park, FL, Martin Marietta in Orlando, FL, The Shawnee Inn Resort in the Poconos, PA, to eventually retiring as an Accounting Specialist at the young age of 72 from Covenant Health in Knoxville, TN, just to name a few. She loved horses, country living, dancing to Elvis songs, dressing up and decorating for Halloween/Christmas at work, spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids, and most of all listening to the love of her life, her husband Albert, singing doo-wop (oldies) songs to her. Her hobbies throughout her life were many, from helping her daughters in softball, brownies/girl scouts, family camping, fishing, gardening, canning, sewing, crocheting, and was very talented with crafts of all kinds and recently started working on quilting. For many years, she enjoyed bowling in different leagues at the Colonial Bowling Lanes and was involved in many tournaments. Later in life, she would turn to stock car racing where she met and married her soulmate Albert. They would end up running a stand together (ARPJ Photos), along with her two daughters Sandra and Marilyn, taking photos (dodging cars) and making tee shirts at the Auburndale Speedway. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth D. (Weare) Marsh, Russell M. Marsh, father Ernest D. “Manny” Wirth, Frances M. Wirth, and Albert’s son Albert Quellette IV. Luciene leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, Albert J. Quellette III, her daughters Louise (Mike) Hom, Sandra FayJones, Marilyn Fay, Albert’s daughter Katie Quellette and his sons Brian (Nicole) Quellette, Christian Quellette, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her sisters Sande Carney and Lynda (Jim) Strehlow, and many other family members and friends. Mom had the biggest heart and was always loving and caring to those around her. She battled cancer so bravely the past few years and had such a strong will to live. She will always be Pop’s “Beautiful Wife” and will be dearly missed by us all.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life to honor her on November 19, 2022 @2pm at the Osteen Civic Center, Osteen, FL.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the Halifax Hospice of Orange City, 1625 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Orange City, FL 32763. Our family cannot say enough about the compassionate care they provided to our Mom and the caring support they gave to us all. Thank you so much.
