LaToya Shevonne McGuire 37, of Deltona, Florida transitioned into eternal rest on Monday October 30th, 2023 at her sister's residence in Orange City, Florida in the care of her loving family. LaToya was born July 15, 1986 to parents Harold McGuire and Betty Isbell-McGuire in Bronx, NY. She was raised in the Bronx area most of her younger years and later in her preteen years relocated to Deltona, Florida with her family in August 1997. LaToya attended Deltona Middle and High Schools, here in Volusia. She was employed as an independent Rideshare driver with Uber Lyft. LaToya was a loving, caring mother, daughter, sister, and unique young woman, who gave of herself even in the midst of her stuffing. She was always an inspiration to others. She would cook and share food with the homeless in various areas of Daytona with friends. LaToya had a heart of giving and was not a stranger to anyone. She was a humble person, who showed the spirit of God in her character. LaToya touched everyone she came in contact with and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father: Harold Thomas McGuire, Grandfathers: Harold McGuire Sr, Lamont Johnson, Arthur Isbell and grandmother: Annabelle Johnson.
"To be absent from this body; forever present with the Lord" LaToya will forever live on in the hearts of her loving daughter Janyha Pride, devoted mother Betty McGuire; Sister Jazmin McGuire and Brother Deshawn McGuire. A host nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. "A Battle Well Fought and Victory Won; Rest well LaToya"
