July 29, 1943 ~ April 12, 2025 (age 81)

Isaiah 66:13: "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem"

Laurie Ann Scott, 81, passed into her final rest under the full pink moon April 12th, 2025 surrounded and carried through by her family and loved ones. Our Mother, Nana, Matriarch and Savior; Laurie positively impacted every soul who ever had the fortune of knowing her. Through faith and community, she built a beautiful family, home and parish. Laurie’s Legacy will live on through those she loved, taught and interacted with. Laurie was predeceased by her loving husband Frank of 29 years in 1992 and also by her oldest son Richard. Laurie is survived by a large and loving family. Her children include Frank, John, Kym, Wendy, Samantha and Carl. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and immeasurable amounts of friends within her church and community. "She taught us not just how to love, but how to choose to love. To choose to love someone, no matter what, and to make that choice even on the hardest of days. She taught us to keep showing up." 

Laurie’s burial in Portsmouth, New Hampshire’s Calgary cemetery will be at a later date.
