Nanva Gail Concepcion 75, of Sanford, Florida transitioned from this life Wednesday May 1, 2024 at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, Florida. She was born April 27, 1949 to D.C. McCoy and Sarah R. Davis in Sanford, FL. Nanva married George Owens April 14, 1968 in Newark. NJ. To this union was born a daughter Tiomoya Owens. She was the first black secretary at NBC and drew up the many contracts for various artists on Saturday Night Live such as Garrett Morris. She served in the foster grandparents program of Seminole county and worked with students at Midway Elementary School. Nanva was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family and always said her kids were her 7 lights of joy. She will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with her. Nanva will forever live on in the heart of her loving devoted Daughter Tiomoya Owens her 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings Mary Davis-Hanna of Atlanta, GA; Karen McCoy, Arthur Davis and Donnie McCoy all of Sanford, FL. A host of other family members and friends.
