Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada esposa, madre, abuela, suegra y amiga, Neisa Angelica Matos, quien partió el 1 de junio de 2026 en Deland a la edad de 61 años.

Neisa nació el 10 de septiembre de 1964 en San Juan, hija de Rafael Guzmán y Alicia Fonalledas. Contrajo matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Edwin Matos, el 31 de julio de 1988 en San Juan. Juntos construyeron una vida llena de fe, amor y dedicación a su familia.

Neisa se graduó de la Universidad Sagrado Corazón en Santurce PR. Con un master en administration de empresas. 

Secretaria por varios años del Licenciado Leduc en Rio Piedras PR. 

En NY tambien trabajo como secretaria de gerente de una sucursal de Banco Popular de PR en Alto Manhathan NY. 

Cuando se mudaron a la Florida enpredieron una empresa en el 1989 de window covering de la cual fue co dueña y aun continua operando. 

Mujer visionaria como padre y teniendo varias empresas de mercadeo al momento de su partida. 

En el ministerio se desempeñó junto a su esposo a desarrollar charlas y conferencias de matrimonios bajo la cobertura de la Fundación Libres Para Amar con base en Miami por los últimos 15 años. 

En la iglesias que asistieron también se destacó como lideres de parejas y matrimonio con mucho éxito junto a su esposo. 

Neisa será recordada por su fortaleza, su noble corazón y la manera tan especial en que hacía sentir amados a todos los que la rodeaban. Su alegría, cariño y espíritu permanecerán para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Edwin Matos; su hijo, Michael Matos; su hija Stephanie Matos y su querido nieto, Sebastian Matos, además de muchos familiares y amigos que la amarán y extrañarán siempre.

Aunque hoy lloramos su partida, encontramos consuelo en saber que descansa en la presencia del Señor, sana y en paz.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend, Neisa Angelica Matos, who departed on June 1, 2026 in Deland at the age of 61.

Neisa was born on September 10, 1964, in San Juan, the daughter of Rafael Guzmán and Alicia Fonalledas. She married the love of her life, Edwin Matos, on July 31, 1988, in San Juan. Together they built a life full of faith, love, and dedication to their family.

Neisa graduated from Sacred Heart University in Santurce, PR, with a Master of Business Administration degree. 

Secretary for several years to Attorney Leduc in Rio Piedras PR. 

In NY I also work as a secretary to the manager of a branch of Banco Popular de PR in Upper Manhattan, NY. 

When they moved to Florida, they started a window covering company in 1989, which she co-owned and still operates. 

A visionary woman as a father and having several marketing companies at the time of her passing. 

In the ministry, she worked alongside her husband developing talks and conferences for married couples under the umbrella of the Free to Love Foundation based in Miami for the past 15 years. 

In the churches they attended, she also stood out as a very successful marriage and couples leader alongside her husband. 

Neisa will be remembered for her strength, her noble heart, and the special way she made everyone around her feel loved. Her joy, affection, and spirit will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin Matos; her son, Michael Matos; her daughter, Stephanie Matos; and her beloved grandson, Sebastian Matos, as well as many family members and friends who will always love and miss her.

Although we mourn her passing today, we find comfort in knowing that she rests in the presence of the Lord, healed and at peace.
