Ollie Roy Wheeler, 73 of Deltona, FL transitioned from this life to be with his heavenly Father on September 2nd,2022 at his residence. Ollie was born in Enterprise, AL. May 25th,1949 to PC and Peggy Mae Wheeler. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Army servicing in the 9th Infantry, facing many difficult tasks and endured so many things. Ollie was an over achiever, he was awarded the Purple Heart as well as numerous other Medals of Honor. He attended Georgetown University and graduated with a B.S. Degree in business. 

Ollie met and married the love of his life Vickie Yawn on November 9th, 1994 in Baltimore, MD. He was a kind and loving partner to his wife and very devoted to his family. His beliefs were "God first" and "Be true to Self". This is how he choose to live his life. Ollie loved his family, good music, the movie "Gun Smoke" and a good time. He  worked for NIH in Maryland; as a Special Police and in transportation. He was a life long member of the American Legion.

Ollie was precede in death by his parents: PC and Peggy Mae Wheeler as well as brothers Rosco Bass, Paul Wheeler and sister Mary Ann Wheeler.

He will forever live on in the hearts of his devoted and loving wife Vickie. Daughters: Oleanna Wheeler, Tammy Phillips and Victoria Phillips Jones. Sons: Michael (Mia) Phillips and Torrance Jones. Grandchildren: Elijah, Zion, Crystal, Britney, Michael, Tiana, Talia, Dion and Marlo. 7great grandchildren and Sister: Gloria Wheeler of Bradenton, FL. A special friend Tommy and a host of loving Family and friends.
