Rebecca Madrid  71, of Sanford, Florida transitioned on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family in Sanford, Florida. She was born February 25,1954 to loving parents Norberto Gidacan Sr. and Remedios Jumawan in Toledo City, Philippines. She worked as a seamtress for many until she retired. Rebecca was a devoted life long member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in the Philippines. She was truly a woman of great faith, who loved God, her family and her church. She loved to design and make fashionable dresses. Her siblings remembers her as being loving, caring and a sweet sister, who helped raise her younger siblings, making sure they had food on the table. She had a heart of gold and it showed by how she loved and gave to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A love that will be greatly missed by all who came to know her. Rebecca will forever on in the hearts of her devoted daughter: Grace ( Cleave) of Sanford, FL. Devoted grandchildren: Gazelle, Gamaliel, Gabriel, Gaille and Gaddiel Mahinay. Her sisters: Sarah Gidacan-Labis, Elizabeth Gidacan-Capaning, Mercy ( Arthro) Gidacan-Lampa and Medelin ( Ricky) Gidacan-Stambach. Her brothers: Norberto Gidacan Jr. and Dominador Gidacan. Her sister in laws: Mildred Pubsima-Gridacan and Estella Dionsay- Gidacan. A host of other family and friends.
