II Timothy 4:7 kjv Deacon John Willie Miller Sams was born to the late Isaiah Sams, Sr and the late Mattie Lee Menefee Sams on September 6, 1956 in Sanford, Florida. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He fought in the Vietnam War. He also was a Deputy Sheriff in Seminole County. He retired from Kramer. He served as a Deacon at The Bethel Baptist Church, Apopka, Florida fro several years under His Brother/Pastor, Rev. Dr. John Wilson. Deacon, John. Willie Miller, Sam's.Passed away peacefully in the evening of Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023. He was preceded In death by his late wife, Diane Sams of 30 years. His Brothers are as follows: Isaiah Sams,Jr; Roosevelt Sams and Charles Lundy, Sr; Sisters: Ella Mae Lundy, Lily Pearl Williams, and Anna Lois Lundy Dupree. He is survived by his two beloved sons: Rodney Hillsman. Sanford, FL; Christopher Sean Taz Sams.Tampa, FL; His only beloved daughter: Angela Reddings.Sanford, FL; His granddaughters: Rhonnessa Hillsman and Jasmyn Hillsman, Sanford, FL. He is survived by his devoted, loving and caring caregiver and friend: Miss Sheeler White. Brothers: Jackie (Sylvia) Hayes, Deltona, FL; Pastor: Rev.Dr. John (Wanda) Wilson, Roy Menefee; Pastor: Elder Reginald J Menefee, and Arthur L Sams, Sanford, FL. Sisters: Georgia Mae (Will) Colquit, Linda Lundy Hills, Prophetess Merlyn Menefee Jarrells, Sanford, FL. His only surviving Aunt: Viola Vickie Menefee. He has a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and grieving friends.Our beloved Deacon, John Sams will be greatly missed by us all
