Wiley Dell Plummer, 79, of Deltona, FL, passed away on January 18, 2024 in his home. He was born December 13, 1944 to Ivan C. and Lillian Plummer in Independence, KS. He married Heidi Marie Eaton on April 28, 1962 in Burlington, IA. He was employed by Pella Window Co. for over 30 years. He later worked for Popcorn Shoppe for 8 years until his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of the River Catholic Church in Leclaire, IA, and later became a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona, FL, where he joined the Knights of Columbus #6584. He was also a member of Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years, Deer Valley Antique Tractor Club in Iowa, and was the Lieutenant of the West Burlington, IA Fire Department. Wiley was energetic and was Santa Claus to many. He loved volunteerism, deer hunting, fishing, motorcycles, airplanes, patch collecting, antique tractors, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
He is preceded in death by one son, Randall S. Plummer, his father, Ivan C. Plummer, and his mother, Gertie L. Plummer.
Wiley leaves to cherish his many memories, his loving wife, Heidi Marie (Eaton) Plummer, one son, Ronald (Sheila) Plummer, one grandchild, Trevor Plummer, 3 great-grandchildren, all of Deltona, FL; one sister, Karen Bommarito of California; and one brother, Ivan C. (Debbie) Plummer, Jr.
